Coachella Festival announces NFT x On-Site Extras

Coachella and FTX have teamed up to announce that any 2022 Coachella card holder can receive a free NFT for 2 weeks. It shows how the NFT can be used at festivals to monitor and reward loyalty, as well as evidence of presence in physical activity. To be clear, the NFT will be called ‘In Blossom’.

About NFT

On Friday morning of each festival week, NFT owners will see their NFT seed “bloom” in one of the seven desert flowers. All NFT owners will be able to claim festival benefits such as restricted admission, limited edition FTX & Coachella merchandise and food and beverage vouchers.

Coachella NFT was also designed by Jonathan Zawada, an NFT artist, followed by Beeple on Twitter. A random selection of NFT seeds bloom in one of six unique flowers. These can be exchanged for premium festival upgrades, including VIP upgrades, 2023 weekend passes, FTX VIP Lounge access, premium merchandise items, Goldenvoice concert tickets and Ferris wheel rides.

Coachella 2022 will be as big as ever. The festival, which begins on Friday 15 April and ends on Sunday 24 April, has many stars in the lineup. These include Ye (Kanye West), Harry Styles and Billie Eilish.

Historically, the annual festival has been held in India, California since 1999. However, it has been canceled for the last two years due to coronavirus. He has a winning comeback this year. In 2017, 250,000 participants met (on two weekends).
