Eminem to release greatest-hits album 'Curtain Call 2' with a previously unreleased song
Eminem's second greatest-hits compilation is on the way.
After weeks of teasers, the Detroit rapper has officially announced "Curtain Call 2," to be released Aug. 5.
The album will feature material from Eminem's 2009 album "Relapse" onward, including side-project work, guest appearances and soundtrack songs,
according to a Monday media release from Interscope Records. It will also include one previously unreleased track.
The full track list hasn't yet been revealed.
The original "Curtain Call" was released in 2005, assembling songs from Eminem's first four major label albums and the "8 Mile" soundtrack.
Monday's announcement follows the June release of Eminem's collaboration with Snoop Dogg, "From the D 2 the LBC."
"Curtain Call 2" will also be issued in autographed vinyl and a limited-edition boxed set.
Fans can apply to purchase those copies at shop.eminem.com.
The forthcoming set is the first Eminem album in several years to be announced in advance: The rapper has opted for surprise releases of his big projects.
