Pryor man claims $1 million lottery prize

A man from Pryor claimed a $1 million prize from the Oklahoma Lottery Thursday.

The state lottery said Barry claimed his winning ticket at the Oklahoma Lottery Winner Center. He bought the Mega Millions ticket on

 Aug. 30 from Prime Stop Food N Fuel on State Highway 20 in Pryor.

The next drawing for the now $169 million jackpot is on Friday.

The Oklahoma Lottery also said on the July 29 for the Mega Millions drawing $1.34 billion prize, a $1 million winning ticket was purchased 

at Chisholm Corner in Elgin. At this time, a winner has not come forward to claim this prize.

Last fiscal year, the Oklahoma Lottery paid out more than $213 million in prizes to players.
