'Street Outlaws' Star Ryan Fellows Killed During Production
Street Outlaws: Fastest in America star and racer Ryan Fellows, 41, passed away on Sunday in a car crash while filming the Discovery reality show.
According to reports, Fellows was racing another driver outside of Las Vegas on Sunday morning when he lost control of his vehicle near the finish line.
According to reports, the car, a gold Nissan 240z, rolled over before catching fire.
Several crewmembers attempted to pull Fellows from the vehicle, but they were unable to save him, reports said.
Street Outlaws is a reality television series that explores the world of illegal street racing, and the show first premiered in 2013.
On Monday, the show's Twitter account wrote, "The Street Outlaws family is heartbroken by the accident that led to the tragic death of Ryan Fellows.
We extend our deepest sympathy to Ryan's loved ones as they process this sudden and devastating loss."
A GoFundMe page set up for Fellows' family said that he leaves behind his wife Liz, and his children, Josiah, 18, and Olivia, 10.
