ICICI bankers can order and receive many debit cards provided by the bank. After you receive your card, you need to activate it before you can start using it. In this guide, we will see how to create an ICICI debit card online in just one step.

Requirements for ICICI debit card activation

  • ICIC Debit Card Card details, expiry date, CVV number and debit card are printed on the back of the card.
  • Date of birth of the DoB accountant. For co-financing, date of birth of the first cashier.
  • Record Phone Number Your bank record mobile phone number must be on your person.
  • The registered phone number should work and be able to receive text messages and phone calls.

There are 4 steps to complete the ICICI debit card.

  • Generate PIN
  • Enable online transactions
  • Enable UPI
  • Make one transaction

Let’s take a closer look at each step. Don’t skip steps. Otherwise, you won’t be able to get much out of your ICICI debit card.

Step 1: Create an ICICI Debit PIN.

After receiving your postcard (for your check-in address), you must create a PIN for your card. Internet banking, i-mobile app and telephone banking are available in 4 ways.

If you do not yet have an Internet business, please use the “Center Call” method.

Step 2: Activate your ICICI debit card for online business.

By default, online trading for new cards has been closed. It must be activated before using it for online business or point of sale. There are three ways to open an online business with an ATM, tap and pay or trade worldwide.

The easiest way online is to use the iMobile app.

Step 3: Enable UPI function.

  • UPI is the fastest way to exchange money, bills and all other daily transactions. To activate UPI, you need a debit card with a debit card and a mobile number.
  • You can use the UPI function of the iMobile app or use other popular UPI apps such as GPay, PhonePe, etc. Let’s see how to enable UPI ID in PhonePe app.
  • Download and launch the PhonePe application on your smartphone.
  • Register in the app with the same registration number as your bank. Then tap “My Money” at the bottom of the app.
  • Tap on the “Bank Account” option.
  • Tap the “Add New Bank” option at the bottom of the screen.
  • Select your bank account from the list and let the app store your bank information.
  • Then select your bank account and enter the last 6 digits of your debit card number.
  • Enter your ATM PIN and click the OK button. You will now receive an OTP for your mobile number. Enter OTP on the screen and click on the OK button.
  • Once your connection is confirmed, you can enter the NEW UPI PIN on the screen.
  • Enter the UPI PIN code again and press the Next button.
  • Completed! Your UPI PIN is now set and can be used in a UPI application. Do not share your UPI PIN or enter your UPI number when prompted.

Step 4: Make at least one change.

Once you have created a PIN, activated your online activity and created your UPI PIN, you can now activate your entire ICICI debit card in one go.
